Create virtual drives in a GUI way Visual Subst 1.0.6 Visual Subst is a small enhancement utility that allows you to associate the most accessed directories with virtual drives. It uses an API similar to the console 'subst' utility, but makes it easier to create and remove virtual drives in a GUI way. Using virtual drives, you will be able to turn a long path (D:\My Documents\My Projects\) into just one drive letter (X:).

IIS Web Server The software doesn't work with IIS.

Just works I have limited needs, but Extra Subst does a clean job in avoiding me to go to the command prompt to activate "virtual" extra drives I need when I develop front-end/back-end based database applications. It also helps in the task of keeping those drives permanent throughout system restarts.

no difference I saw no difference between this extra drive and simply addibng a folder. Sorry.

Great product - Easy to use

Untill now i used VDC one time. After restarting the system the virtual drive dissappeared. I did not use it again after searching how to change that. i could not find the answer.

I like your software, but I was looking to mount a CD Image (e.g. iso file).it is a nice piece of software and I have some useful cases for it. so thank you.

Just installed yesterday, took awhile to figure it out, there is no help section, but finally got it going and it is super simple and great, made 8 virtual drives, and they are all working. Nice to find something for free that actually works, after installing, then when you make your virtual drives, make sure to check the SHEEP, and remember the last program loaded, then go on to finish making the number of drives that you want, if you don't check the sheep you will not be able to mount any images on it.

decided not to install it. Thanks anyway.
